As the name suggests, Melo Melo cultivar is famous for promoting a state of pleasant mellowness. This well-balanced, bitter-sweet and creamy cultivar acts in a slow and pleasantly warm manner. Great for lazy late afternoons, slow-paced conversations and gentle body relaxation.

Processing: Fully washed and peeled. Dried in a temperature-controlled dehydrator.
Effects: As one of the most kavalactone-rich noble cultivars, Melo Melo is a common favourite at nakamals across Vanuatu. Its high DHK:Y ratio leans the profile toward a deep, enveloping body feel, while the exceptionally high K:DHM provides noticeable lift. The moderate K:DHK places the body sensation solidly in the middle ground between crisp and deeply relaxing. The result is a balanced combination of gentle cerebral uplift and smooth, muscle-softening calm. Onset is typically quick, with a steady build into a moderate duration of effects.
Flavour profile: Balance of smooth/creamy and bitter/peppery with notes of black pepper, wood and toasted malt.

Melo Melo is my favourite kava. It's very relaxing and great substitute for alcohol. I've just ran out so must order more.

Would give five stars but last two purchases were slightly clumpy when opened. Also Would be benefit at least to me if analysis section online was completed.

This stuff is the real deal. I've been trying Kava since I first travelled to Fiji in 2002, and there are so many inferior products on the market. This one is excellent, however. Highly recommend.
