We sell two types of powdered kava. The Traditional Grind version requires you to mix water with the powder in a strainer bag, place it in a bowl and squeeze for several minutes before straining and using the liquid. Strength varies by cultivar, preparation and serving size. The traditional grind typically produces a fuller and smoother result due to manual extraction. Instant kava, on the other hand, is more convenient, but may have a different texture or onset time.
